PRINT INFORMATION & CARE
How should I handle my print?
It is advised that you should not handle your print at all. Please leave this to an experienced professional framer. Preferably, you should leave the print inside the mailing tube to be removed by your framer. If you wish to do the framing yourself, handle your print with the utmost of care as they can be very easily marked or creased. Never touch the printed image with your fingers as oil and dirt from your skin can easily cause damage. Always make sure that all staples are removed from mailing tube end before removal of your print.
Where not to position a print?
Never locate your print where it will be exposed to moisture or direct sunlight.
Are prints covered by a warranty?
We do not offer a period of warranty on Stephanie Janett prints. As we are serious about customer satisfaction, we would like to be contacted in the event that a customer has a question and we will only then consider resolutions on a case-by-case basis.
What paper sizes are the images printed onto?
We offer three paper sizes:
24 x 30 inches
30 x 44 inches
44 x 60 inches
All prints have a white border all the way around the image. The above sizes are not indicative of the image size - only represent the size of the paper the photograph is printed on. Image dimensions are stated separately on the product page listing.
Printed Photograph Material?
All Stephanie Janett's limited edition prints are custom printed on heavy weight archival paper.
Do you offer any other sizes?
We are happy to provide a quote if you would like the artwork custom sized to suit your space. Please contact us here and we will let you know if this is possible.
I’ve seen a photograph of yours that I love but it’s not offered on your shop. Am I able to purchase it as a print?
Yes. If you see an image belonging to me on any of my social media channels, I am more than happy to arrange a custom print for you.
How are fine art prints packaged?
We send all our prints rolled in a durable mailing tube. Acid-free tissue paper is placed upon the printed surface of the print before rolling and also used to fill any negative space inside the tube to limit print movement during transportation. Tube end caps are stapled and taped to ensure and prevent the ingress of any foreign matter into the tube potentially affecting the print. Up to 3 prints can be packed per tube keeping shipping costs to a minimum.
How can I ensure authenticity of artworks?
Limited edition prints are shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Will my print be signed and/or editioned?
All prints ordered from the site will be signed by the photographer, Stephanie Janett. All limited edition prints have the artist signature, date and are numbered.
What is the difference between a limited edition print and an open edition print?
A limited edition print is only available in a limited quantity. An open edition is not numbered and the quantity is not limited. Both prints are signed, only the limited edition is numbered. Please refer to the product page for specifics on the print you wish to purchase.
Framing is not included. Framing is such a personal decision based on your individual and interior aesthetic.
Do you have any advice for framing my print?
We strongly recommend having your image framed by a professional framer to ensure the endurance and longevity of your custom print.
If you purchase a standard frame from a shop we strongly recommend you invest in a framer to matt/mount the image with an acid free matt board. Matting is essential to keep the print away from the glass and to allow the image to breathe, ensuring the longevity of your limited edition print.
I like your photographs, can I use them?
